Red She-Hulk, whose first appearance was in Hulk #1 (2008), is a powerful and complex character within the Marvel Universe. Though various theories circulated regarding her identity during her initial appearances, it was eventually revealed that she is Betty Ross, the daughter of General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross and former love interest of Bruce Banner (the Hulk).
In her Red She-Hulk form, Betty possesses immense strength, speed, and durability comparable to, and sometimes exceeding, those of the Hulk and She-Hulk. Unlike the traditional Hulk, she retained her intelligence and personality while transformed.
